I haven't written in a while

so I thought I would make a post

I am pissed off at the direction people have decided to take the country I have not felt much like posting.
but I feel up to a post today.

I feel an economic collapse is eminent, therefore i have begun stocking up on food. I probably have enough for a month so far, i need to go to Sam's club again to get another months worth.

America's death is coming it is just a matter of time. The reason is one law leads to another which leads to another, it is a never ending cycle which only builds on itself until it is its own destruction.
The only reason rules are made is to secure power for the politically elite. They like to feel powerful, who doesn't, and they can grab power with force. if you break their rules you pay for it either monetarily, or ultimately jail.
The rules are being made exponentially, especially now. "crisis" is being used to manipulate the general public into believing they need more rules.

My almost 6 year old even knows that rule after rule after rule is a bad thing. He said we should make the rules for them, how right he is.

Back to the death of america. it has been a great nation for approximately 200 years, a good run for a free nation. Now it is collapsing, I don't think people like true freedom, because they give it away. Why do so many people see something they don't like and the first thing they say is "there aught to be a law" - **shudders** - Like I said before one law leads to another leads to another until you can't do anything!

I think if true freedom is to succeed - at least for another 200 years - a new nation needs to be BORN from scratch or near scratch. At least start getting rid of laws. The question is who starts it, and where. Does any state have the balls? Not yet - but I have hope it could happen.

I am a bit scared of the immediate future, it isn't bright. Especially if the Imperial government of the United states take over our healthcare.
If you think for a moment that the politicians give a rats ass about your health you are sorely mistaken, they want the power it gives them. Think about how dependant you will become on making someone else happy so they may give you permission for that medicine to cure your cancer. Especially if you make it to the age of 65 before you find the cancer, you just may be sent to a "end of life counceler"(sp) to talk about your pain management and hospice options.

Back to myself, I have a productive garden to help sustain my family and I am stockpiling food though I doubt i will be able to get enough to make it through this mess.
I am scared for my children's future and that is motivation for me to actively fight and look to how I am going to keep them from suffering as much as possible.
perhaps I seem paranoid, but there is good reason, and as much as I want America to be great again, I don't see it happening at all. And though Pres. HopeAndChange has sped this up exponentially and will be the ultimate destroyer of America he hasn't done it alone, Like I said one rule leads to another leads to another. So ALL the previous presidents just set the stage and it was a matter of time. There will be books on the Rise and Fall of America, as there is for Rome, USSR, and many others.
There is a birth a prosperity and a death of most all nations formed. America is no different.
Unfortunately I was born to see its death.

I will keep informed and keep researching for a place to relocate my family if I need to, and if it is impossible to relocate then come up with a plan on how to survive to see better days.

I have lots more feelings on this but I am done for now.

If You Live in These Seven States, You Are Already in the Depression

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Seven states received a wakeup call this week as new unemployment statistics confirmed that depression era level double digit unemployment has already struck.

Seven states posted unemployment rates larger than 10 percent in January, according to figures released Wednesday morning by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Michigan was saddled with the nation’s highest jobless rate in January, 12.5 percent in statistics that were not seasonally adjusted. It had been the only state to rise above 10 percent during the previous month, December 2008.

Also topping the 10-percent mark in January were Rhode Island (11.4 percent unemployment), Oregon (10.9 percent), South Carolina (10.9 percent), California (10.6 percent), North Carolina (10.3 percent) and Nevada (10.2 percent).

7 states post jobless rates above 10% - Business First of Buffalo:

During the depression unemployment didn’t just stop at the 12% level. It accelerated to the 20% levels around the world. Twenty percent levels are still not the norm, but these 7 states have a head start and might feel the worst of the depression early on.

Currently the National Unemployment rate is at 8.1%. This does not include what is considered the ‘real’ unemployment numbers of people that the US government has stopped tracking all together, typically because their unemployment insurance benefits have expired.
