perhaps a premature post

Ah its just a thought anyway

I was just listening to the radio who said there are over 100 cases of confirmed Swine flu.
They did not mention how many deaths, which I thought was odd, so I googled the statistics, just the one mexican girl.

How much of a crisis would this be if it comes to over 3000 cases with 3 deaths. People wouldn't be nearly as frantic.

But then the government can't swoon in to rescue us all and have us confess our undying gratitude to them.

This is a perfect situation to begin implementing socialized medicine as well.

It would also be a perfect time to close the borders and quarantine any returning Americans.

Guess which will mostly likely happen.

This is the flu people, people do die of regular influenza yearly too.

It may get interesting or may be a story which dies out. we shall see.

I hope it dies out.

ps "never waste a good crisis" (pelosi)
